Who we are

We didn't set out to build poker software.
We got fed up.

The Serauxmen. A service club. A charity poker tournament twice a year. A hall full of volunteers. And not one piece of software on the planet that was built for us. So we built it ourselves.

01 The problem

Dusty freebies. Casino prices.

We're the Serauxmen, and twice a year we run the Shut Up & Deal charity poker tournament. Every dollar counts. So we went shopping for software to run it.

Here's what we found: free programs that looked like they were built when dial-up was cutting edge. Or slick systems with price tags made for Las Vegas, not a community hall.

Not one of them was built for a fundraiser: door volunteers, a cash box, sponsors, a 50/50, a raffle, and a room full of people who came to raise money.

02 The crew

So we built our own.

Here's the thing about the Serauxmen: we're packed with people who fix things. Engineers. Tinkerers. Folks who hear "that can't be done" and take it personally.

A handful of Serauxmen put their hands up. Then they rolled up their sleeves.

From the very first line, it was built for a fundraiser: door desks, table sponsorships, team showdowns, 50/50 and raffle, prize draws at every break, and every dollar landing in the right account.

03 The result

And it blew the doors off.

We won't be shy about it. What we built wasn't a little better than the expensive stuff. It was a lot better.

It ran the whole night: the door, the clock, the TV, the live web page, the payouts, the prize draws. The volunteers loved it. The players loved it. The treasurer really loved it.

Then somebody said the dangerous words: "Other clubs need this."

04 The leap

Then we went all in.

Now that we knew exactly what we were doing, our development group took on the full meal deal: a version built for every kind of poker night. Charity fundraisers. Leagues. Home games. Bar leagues. Clubs. Festivals. Company nights. Event pros.

It's a full-time gig now. Our team is in the code every day, making it faster, smarter and tougher.

No venture capital. No casino giant. Just a crew of Serauxmen who wanted the best tournament night possible, and refused to settle.

We built the better mousetrap.

And yeah. We're bragging about it.

Run your next tournament on the software that was built at the table, by people who run tournaments. Then tell us we're wrong.
